Passenger MagRail Booster
Passenger MagRail Booster is a groundbreaking retrofit solution that transforms existing passenger trains with smart electromagnetic propulsion using linear motor technology. It seamlessly integrates into hybrid propulsion systems - allowing conventional trains to operate as usual, then switch to MagRail Booster mode for enhanced performance, all without the need for new tracks or infrastructure upgrades. The result: zero-emission rail travel with improved efficiency and service quality.
Currently in development and undergoing evaluation with major rail operators, Passenger MagRail Booster builds on proven technology from the Cargo MagRail Booster. Its rollout will follow a stepwise approach - starting with hybrid-powered trains and evolving toward fully self-propelled, infrastructure-driven systems. This innovation not only enhances passenger services but also contributes meaningfully to global efforts in reducing transport-related CO₂ emissions.
High-speed MagRail
High-Speed MagRail is a hyperloop-inspired leap for rail, delivering magnetic levitation at speeds up to 550 kph-all on existing tracks. It reimagines high-speed transport with zero emissions, halved travel times, and doubled capacity, making rail a true competitor to short- and mid-distance air travel. With metro-like flexibility at an intercity scale, MagRail brings sustainable, high-performance travel to life-without the need for tunnels, vacuum tubes, or new lines.
The system is still in development, but key milestones have already been achieved-like the world’s first demonstration of frictionless magnetic levitation on conventional tracks. MagRail builds on a stepwise approach: evolving from MagRail Booster to full levitation, and potentially to hyperloop-level capabilities. It’s a bold vision for the future of rail-built for tomorrow, tested today.
