The project involves the development of linear drive technology in a system with the powered part of the motor located on the vehicle side, which will be an auxiliary drive for classic rail vehicles. Scope of work envisaged under the project:
- Validation on a laboratory bench of analytical and numerical results resulting from a series of electromagnetic, propulsion and structural analyses
- Structural design of the motor and determination of its electrical parameters during its operation and vehicle movement
- Construction of a solution demonstrator and testing of the developed technology
